Tun Haji Abdul Malek Bin Yusuf (1959 - 1971)
Tun Hj. Abdul Malek was married to Puan Khatijah Bte Ahmad and they were conferred with two child, namely Halimah and Habibah. However, his wife has passed away in year 1950.
After that, he marry wife secondly, Toh Puan Fatimah Bte Ismail in year 1964. Toh Puan Fatimah got her early education at Sekolah Melayu Langat and Sekolah Melayu Kajang.
As a wife of state's highest leader, Toh Puan Fatimah's role is interdependent with her husband's role as Yang Di-Pertua Negeri. As Tun Hj. Abdul Malek often became honorable guest at every event, Toh Puan also pitched in play with her role as frequent wife accompanying her husband to official events which required her presence. As wife to yang Di-Pertua Negeri Melaka, Toh Puan involves in womens organization at Malacca state level. She also becomes Welfare Association and Volunteer patron in Malacca.
Tun is a friendly host in person and often serves state guests. Besides that, Toh Puan Fatimah with her husband welcomes the guest with delicious dishes prepared by her.
