Award

To commemorate the service and contribution of Tun towards race and country, Tun was awarded a few honorary titles. Among them was Meritorious Service Medal (P.J.K) and Commander Of British Empire in 1958, Panglima Mangku Negara (P.M.N) on 31st August 1958, Darjah Paduka Mahkota Kelantan (D.PM.K) 1961, Doctor Honours Degree in Law by University Of Malaya in year 1964 and Darjah Seri Maharaja Mangku Negara (S.M.N) on 7th June 1972.
