As Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Melaka, he always gives attention towards community that claims need attention and support from Malacca state. He held official or personal visits together with the local people to look their life requirement of those need support from the government.

He was appointed as President of Malaysia National Jaksa Compromise Council, President of Kedah State Jaksa Compromise Society, President of Kedah State St. John Ambulance and President of Dato Dato Kedah Darul Aman Cabinet, President of Kedah State Football Club and President of Malacca State Scout.
