Appointment As Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Melaka

Historic and sweet moment for Tun Mohd Khalil was when he received an appointment certificate as Yang di-Pertua Negeri Melaka from DYMM Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail at Istana Negara on 1st Jun 2004. Based on his excellence and dedication on duty, Tun was appointed as Yang di-Pertua Negeri Melaka for four effective years on 4th June 2004 to 4th June 2008.
