Award

To commemorate the charity service and contribution towards the charity and country, Tun Khalil Yaakob was awarded a few honorary title by Ke Bawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan Pahang, namely Setia Mahkota Pahang (SMP), Darjah Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (DSAP) which brought Dato's title, Seri Indera Mahkota Pahang (SIMP) and Seri Sultan Ahmad Shah (SSAP) which brought Dato' Seri's title. From Federal Government, he was awarded following greatness classes; Johan Setia Mahkota (JSM) and Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSM) which brought Tan Sri's title. Tuan Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah has present him with Seri Panglima Darjah Kinabalu (SPDK) which brought Datuk Seri Panglima's title in 2003, while Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan Kelantan has awarded him Darjah Al-Ismaili 1 (SJMK). On 28th July 2004, Tun was awarded Darjah Kebesaran Seri Maharaja Mangku Negara (S.MN.) which brought the title 'Tun' by Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Ibni Al-Marhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail.
