Marriage

Tun was married to Toh Puan Dato' Zurina Bte Kassim in 1965. Toh Puan Dato', who was born on 13th July 1944 was from Duyong, Malacca. She receives her early education at Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampung Baru and Sekolah Perempuan Methodist, Kuala Lumpur.

As a diplomat and politician wife, Toh Puan Dato' is active in associations such as Pahang Wife’s Representive Association (LOTUS) from 1986 to 1999 as Yang Di-Pertua, Islamic Women Board as Patron and member of Charity Body Association and Wife Force Charity (BAKTI) in 1999.

As the result of the marriage, Tun and Toh Puan Dato' was blessed with three childrens, two sons and a daughter and now having one grandchild.
