Kesidang or it's botanical name, 'canangrium scortechinii' is a special homogeneous small plant. The trunk is small but hard and the branch expands on top of the trellis that are built to it. All the fundamental part consists of rubber, leaf green like betel leaf and its bush gives shadow to the nearby trees.
The shape of the flower is small and his soft nature makes Kesidang to be an ornament in an official functions. The tradition society of Malacca make used Kesidang as woman's hairdo, groom's ornament and in custom ceremonys such as "tepak sirih" and "bunga rampai". Kesidang symbolizes moderation of characteristic and personality of Malacca society.
