Grand Commander Of The Most Distinguished Order Of Melaka (DCSM)

This honour was instituted in the year 1978 by the Malacca State government. This honour is conferred to individual that has special service contribution towards Malacca state and holds a high rank.

The recipient of this honour is called ’Datuk Wira’ and his wife as ’Datin Wira’. A woman whose receives this award must be called ’Datuk Wira’ . This award is presented as a necklace. The award comprises of a necklace badge, degree badge, degree star and a piece of sash.
